About HabitatTrack Wildlife Monitoring HabitatTrack supports infrastructure and resource projects with wildlife surveys, habitat assessments, and monitoring programs. We specialize in practical mitigation measures, Indigenous engagement support, and clean reporting that stands up to review. Role summary We’re hiring a Field Technician — Habitat Monitoring to support projects in wildlife & habitat monitoring. You’ll collaborate with field and office teams, keep documentation organized, and communicate clearly with internal and external partners. Responsibilities - Plan and execute assigned work safely (field and/or office depending on project) - Maintain clean notes, QA/QC checks, and versioned deliverables - Coordinate with project leads and stakeholders; escalate risks early - Support regulatory documentation and reporting timelines Requirements - Relevant diploma/degree or equivalent experience - Strong communication and documentation habits - Comfort working independently and as part of a team - Valid driver’s license (for field-based roles) Nice to have - Familiarity with Canadian environmental regulations - Experience with QA/QC, GIS, or monitoring equipment (role-dependent)
